Forever - A Short Film about Time and Space

Inspiring our end of year and transition to a new one, this short film was commissioned by Vietcetera, to interpret one of our beliefs. What we craft is made for life. This contemplative story, shot in the northern Tam Dao hills of Vietnam, explores the poetry of time. FOREVER - directed by Morgan Ommer,  Winner of the Berlin Flash Festival October 2018. “Even before you get into the space you get a sense that this is home,” Tuan Le, creative director of The Lab Saigon, smiles. The entranceway, scented with the oil used to treat its wood, is a first welcoming taste of nest by AIA. While design inspirations in the digital age tend to be drawn from the likes of Pinterest and Instagram, District Eight went many centuries back to build their latest range, the Cyrus collection. Our latest collection fuses two materials from opposite ends of the spectrum—light, soft velvet and raw, bold metal, like steel and brass.
